Nymphaea Caerulea

Nymphaea Caerulea is found represented in ancient Egyptian art. It is believed that the ancient Egyptians may have used the flower for it's inebriating effects. Called "Viagra of the Pharoahs" Blue Lotus was used in Ancient Egypt to enhance the sex drive. Egyptian medicinal practitioners also used this flower to stimulate blood flow, and as an anti aging treatment. Blue Lotus is considered a visionary plant and it was the symbol for a key to good health, sex and rebirth and the symbol for the origins of life. It is an aphrodisiac for both men and women as well as a general remedy and tonic.
